Oppo A78 features 2023
A 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate is available on the Oppo A78. It is L1 Widevine certified and has an AMOLED screen. The phone has Smart Adaptive Backlighting for the display.
It contains two stereo speakers for audio that use Real Original Sound technology, which Dirac has tested. In order to hear well in busy surroundings, the device also has an Ultra level option that enables users to turn up the speaker level by up to 200%.
The OPPO A78 5G Review sports two cameras: a 50MP primary camera for detailed portrait bokeh and a 2MP depth camera. The front of the device houses an 8MP camera dedicated to selfies and video calls. The device also supports the Dual-View Video feature, allowing users to record video concurrently with both the front and back cameras and combine it into a single frame for artistic vlogging.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage power the Oppo A78. A microSD card may be used to add up to 1TB of capacity to the device. Additionally, customers may increase the RAM by up to 8GB over and beyond the storage thanks to Oppo’s RAM Expansion technology.
Oppo’s Dynamic Computing Engine, which the firm says can operate up to 19 apps simultaneously without latency or interruptions, is another feature that is featured on the Oppo A78.
The device operates using ColorOS 13.1, which is built on the foundation of Android 13. Oppo A78 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and features 67W SuperVOOC flash charging technology. According to Oppo’s claim, the device can charge up to 73% in just 30 minutes and achieve a full charge in approximately 45 minutes.
For better battery health, the smartphone’s proprietary Battery Health Engine extends battery lifespan by up to 1,600 charging and discharging cycles. It also includes optimized all-day charging mode and 5-layer charging protection, such as adapter overload protection, flash charge condition identification protection, charging port overload protection, battery current/voltage overload protection, and battery fuse for added safety.
“On the back, there are two lenses: the first is a 50MP, f/1.8 main camera, while the second is a 2MP, f/2.4 black and white camera for depth. On the front side, there’s an 8MP, f/2.0 selfie camera.
Overall, the A78’s photo capabilities are impressive. It excels at capturing quick shots of local places or blooming flowers. However, there is room for improvement: the phone doesn’t handle the contrast between light and dark areas as finely as it does with lighter regions, leading to unnecessary emphasis on certain parts of the image.”
