Singer Tori Kelly, according to the TMJ’s report, was transported to the hospital on Sunday night after collapsing after dinner at a restaurant in Los Angeles. After losing consciousness, she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles take by ambulance. TMJ said that doctors discovered tiredness in her lungs and feet, and that she has been going in and out of the hospital while they try to find a blood clot close to her heart. A statement from Kelly’s reps has been requested.
The Grammy-winning singer earned popularity while competing on American Idol’s ninth season in 2010 and soared to recognition on YouTube. She released her debut album “Unbreakable Smile” in 2015 after hiring Scooter Braun as her new manager, garnering her a nomination for Best New Artist at the 58th Grammy Awards. But she didn’t take home two Grammys for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song until her second studio album, “Hiding Place.” As of this week, Kelly is getting ready to release her forthcoming EP on July 28th after just signing with Epic Records.
